Yesterday the inaugural Halloween on the Green community festival was held in Ferny Creek, Dandenong Ranges, Melbourne. I worked with a creative group of three other local women to transform an old log cabin into a haunted house experience for festival goers. With a few props from home and some digging at the local op shops, we put together Miss Havisham’s dinner party (from Great Expectations). It was a lot of fun to photograph (that light!), and the costumes on many of our visitors were phenomenal. People came from far and wide to attend. Look out for the event next year.
